Sharepoint Manager - European Games, Baku, Azerbaijan

The SharePoint Manager, reporting into the Enterprise and FA Applications Senior Manager, will contribute to the Information Systems team providing support where SharePoint platform is part of the project. The SharePoint Manager will be primarily focused on the technical delivery aspects of the project life cycle in particular hands-on development activities, testing, release into service, and operational support of SharePoint-based applications. Suitable candidates should be experienced SharePoint developers with project management skills

Key accountabilities for this position include:

- Manage application implementation plans including activities, schedules and quality assurance of deliverables
- Required to take ownership for the delivery and operation of the suite of SharePoint applications required for the Baku 2015 European Games
- Coordinate the implementation team to support the business requirements collection, analysis and testing of software solutions
- Execute project tasks, in particular software customisation and set up, testing, release into service and level 2/3 operational support to end-users for any of the SharePoint-based projects
- Administration of team sites and management of the pre-Games and Games time support
- Cooperate with vendors in designing and implementing SharePoint solutions
- Facilitate communications between the team, the Client groups and the service providers on the technical side.
- Other duties may be assigned as required
