Sharepoint Developer (M9)

- Based in Melbourne South East

My client a leading organisation based in the South East suburbs are looking for a SharePoint Developer. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint a SharePoint Developer within their ICT Group. As an integral member of the ICT team reporting to the IT Team Leader, this role will see you primarily responsible for leading the organisations SharePoint Development effort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Provision of advanced level of Solution Development services to ensure successful delivery of a wide range of SharePoint based applications and solutions
- Leading the team's SharePoint activities
- Timely delivery of SharePoint design, development and administration solutions
- Provision of leadership to all development resources and administration solutions

KEY SKILLS INCLUDE:

- A deep understanding of SharePoint capabilities as a product and as a platform.
- Experience in architectural design and planning of SharePoint implementations and custom development solutions.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining SharePoint implementations at a farm and infrastructure level (IIS, SQL).
- Experience with Visual Studio development of custom SharePoint solutions (eg Web Parts, Workflows and Timer Jobs).
- Experience with SharePoint templates (Site Templates, List Templates and Page Layouts) and user interface enhancements (Master Page).
- Experience in integration of non-SharePoint based services within SharePoint.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified in Software Development or related area. Essentially, you will have demonstrated experience in MICROSOFT .NET AND SHAREPOINT (2007 AND 2010) development, configuration and administration.
