Sharepoint Developer - Brussels
Morson International are working with a global consultancy who are looking for a Sharepoint Developer to join their team in Brussels. This is initially a 6 month contract with a number of extensions, this is a long term contract. There may be some travel to Luxembourg (Depending on the projects).
The Sharepoint Developer will be involved in:
. Prototyping
. Elaboration of test programs
. Integration of IT systems with other applications
. Writing of technical documentation (including user requirements) following the standards and methodologies established by the Contracting Authority
. Implementation of user requirements
. Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
. Participation in meetings with the project teams and user groups
. Assistance with providing training to the administrators and end-users of the system (s)
. Depending on the circumstances, the expert may be requested to provide assistance or support in the resolution of production issues
. Participation in the development of applications based on Microsoft SharePoint (2013).
The successful Sharepoint Developer will have:
. Bachelor Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT OR Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 11 years in IT
. Minimum 6 years of experience with developing web applications (Intranets, Portals, etc.) based on Microsoft SharePoint Platform (2010/2013).
. Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft IIS
. Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Database Management System.
. Very good knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 Platform services and tools (Sites, Communities, Content, Search, Insights, Composites - workflows, collaboration, Wikis - SharePoint Designer, etc.)
. Very good knowledge of .NET Framework (VB.NET and/or C#), Visual Studio and relevant frameworks
. Good knowledge of the design and development of web/multi-tier applications
. Very good English, written and spoken is required.
