Sharepoint Developer

Proteus Europe are urgently seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to join our client on a 10 month (plus possible extension) contract beginning in March. Applicants must be able to work in Stockholm, Sweden for the duration of this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create SharePoint workflows;
- Improve the functionality and quality of existing SharePoint workflows;
- Implementation of automated modules for content migration in SharePoint;
- Develop customised webparts to serve specific business needs of the applications;
- Create deployment packages;
- Create documentation of the applications;
- Assist on test, bug-fixing and deployment of solutions

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Relevant University Degree and a minimum of 6 years experience in SharePoint and .NET technologies
- Proven experience with SharePoint Content types and Document libraries.
- Proven experience with SharePoint Workflows and SharePoint Designer.
- Proven experience with Visual Studio 2010/2012/2013 and Team Foundation Server.
- Proven experience with migration/upgrade projects from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, including data migration is requested.
- Proven experience with business process modelling (BPMN, UML or RUP).
- Proven experience with system maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems.
- Experience with application development using SharePoint 2010/2013(SharePoint object model, event receivers, web parts, Business Data Catalogue, extending SharePoint web services, Managed Metadata Services, solution pack-aging and scripted deployment using PowerShell).
- Experience with application development using .NET technologies (technologies: C#, .NET 3.5 or higher, WCF, and LINQ, as well as T-SQL and MS SQL 2008R2/2012).
- Experience with unit testing in SharePoint.
- Experience with client side Scripting (technologies: JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSLT, HTML/XHTML and CSS).
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural team

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Agile software development (SCRUM)
- MS SQL Management Studio/MS SQL Profiler.
- RedGate SQL Compare and RedGate SQL Data Compare.
