Title: SharePoint Developer

Type: Contract- 6 months

Location: Atlanta, GA 30329

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designs, develops, tests, deploys, debugs, maintains and documents SharePoint solutions using out of the box functionality and custom code as needed. This includes web parts, templates, page layouts, and master pages
- Configure, administration and troubleshooting MOSS and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
- Installation and base configuration of MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010, including appropriate service accounts for server and database (infrastructure)
- Experience in implementing security groups within MOSS 2007 and in SharePoint 2010 as it is tied to AD
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and data modelling
- Experience in systems analysis, design, development and implementation of various applications including web application development using SharePoint, ASP.NET 3.5, C#, VB.NET, AJAX, WCF, and Web Services, IIS and Windows 2003/2008
- Scripting to automate systems tasks using common toolsets, with a focus on Power Shell
- Participate in the architectural design, development, customization and integration efforts of solutions involving collaboration, portals, content management, and workflows
- Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page) customization is required
- Experience in developing and building WebParts using SharePoint object model
- Full life cycle software development experience
- Excellent knowledge of programming/systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions
- Good problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies
- Experience in architecting SharePoint applications and track record of successful SharePoint 2007/2010, .NET framework software development with participation in full SDLC
- Proven ability to configure and enhance web parts, workflows and proficiency with SharePoint Designer
- Migrate current SharePoint 2007 sites and applications to SharePoint 2010
- Experience assessing and recommending application functionality, scalability, and security improvements to existing production SharePoint sites
- Experience creating and modifying SharePoint lists and libraries
- Experience in administering SharePoint including: central administration, security, migrations, farm-level server administration and maintenance, 2010 service applications such as Excel services for SharePoint, database maintenance, configuration of services, error troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Demonstrated success building custom web parts using Visual Studio 2008/2010
- SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Mid-level experience with and responsible for: Implementation of the SharePoint Architect's design, Software component design, conversion of ASP and.NET development, Access Front End development
- Documentation, Development and Implementation activities in accordance with EPLC deliverables.
- Knowledge and/or ability to understand programming technology for current systems includes but not limited to: SharePoint, Java, JavaScript, Java Servlets, JDBC, JSP, ODBC , MS SQL, VPN, SSL TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, HTTPS, IIS, VMware, Middleware technologies (eg DCOM, COM, COM+, RPC, ansi SQL), XML, XSLT, SCC, WSDL, Documentum, CDC and USDA e-authentication, Crystal Reports, scanning tools, API, Rational Rose, directory services, authentication methodologies, Routers, Firewall, NIC, MS Access and other new programming languages as appropriate to the task.
- Primary ability to provide SharePoint programming services in developing complex applications using standard approaches or less complex systems using new approaches. Must possess the ability to independently run an entire system or portion thereof and to review and process its output for validity and accuracy.
- Minimum 5 Years professional systems services experience with a related bachelor's degree
- Microsoft Certifications are strong pluses
