Sharepoint Developer

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS REQUIRED

- Excellent demonstrable experience of SharePoint 2010, visual studio, .NET application design, development, administration and configuration.
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, ASP.Net (C#), JavaScript; SQL
- Demonstrable knowledge of best practice in SharePoint architecture design.
- MCTS qualified or equivalent experience or evidence of work being done to achieve this.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive on-time delivery of solutions.
- Defines the SharePoint ways of working and processes
- Experience of project management and development lifecycles
- Ability to lead projects, providing support and mentoring to colleagues.
- Excellent all round communication skills, written, oral
- Specification (product features, activities, software);
- Design (look and feel, balance, contrast, flow, animation, theme, style guides etc.);
- User Experience Design (user centred interface, interaction, graphics, HCI, usability and structure);
- Development (configuration of sites, development of dynamic features, authoring, content creation).
- Test (preparation and coordination of test facilities, resources execution of tests; reporting; identification, documentation, disposition and investigation of problems and discrepancies; regression testing); Maintenance (content publishing and updating; SharePoint site updates; maintenance of links);Technical Planning (technical risk; configuration and data management; progress and in-process reviews including walkthroughs, readiness and action item tracking);
- Exposure or knowledge of PHP and other development tools would be an advantage
