Sharepoint Developer

Our Central Government client is currently looking for a SharePoint Developer to be work on a 110 day contract based in Central Leeds. This is an immediate requirement.
We are looking for a C#/ASP.NET SharePoint Developer to work on SharePoint and .NET applications. This post will be dedicated to the technical design, development, testing and implementation of SharePoint applications and services both in support and in the development cycle. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder with in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to communicate and interact with the business and users, as well as being able to work effectively as part of an established team

Main Duties/Responsibilities
*Provide technical & development input for the migration of existing SharePoint services from 2007 to 2010, including identification key risks, issues and dependencies.
*Design, develop, test and support all parts of the SharePoint system - UI, business logic and database for existing and new SharePoint services.
*Liaise with the business to gather, refine, analysis and expand on requirements.
*Produce documentation to enable on-going support, administration and training of existing and future staff on the use of the developed systems

Skills/Experience Required
Essential
Experienced .NET Framework Developer (v3.5) with relevant technical experience, specifically:
*Deep understanding and experience of software architecture and systems integration
*SharePoint 2010 implementation
*SharePoint 2007 implementation
*C#/ASP.NET (v3.5)
*An ORM (such as Entity Framework or NHibernate)
*SQL Server 2008 (including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS)
*Advanced Javascript in a DHTML environment (preferably jQuery)
*Unit testing and mocking, preferably with NUnit
*Continuous Integration, preferably CC.NET
*Working on a multi-tiered environment and with Visual Studio 2008
*Experience of working in an agile environment.
*Take initiative and work to deadlines as required.
*Produce clean, maintainable and robust code.
*Influence, negotiate and persuade regarding complex/sensitive issues.
*Manage own time effectively
