Sharepoint Developer - .NET - Microsoft - MVC - WCF - Switzerland

SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER

Seeking an experienced SharePoint developer with a strong .NET and software engineering background, to contribute to a wide migration project to SharePoint 2013 on-premises.
The successful candidate will be a SharePoint product expert, with proven experience in enterprise on-premises SharePoint migrations.
Experience in applying software engineering principals, application life cycle management and DevOps is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Contribute to development and deployment of enterprise wide SharePoint components with strong skills to leverage out of the box features in the product
- Support the migration to SharePoint 2013 from Legacy repositories

MUST HAVE

- Deep understanding of out of the box features of SharePoint (must have on-premises 2013 experience)
- Deep understanding of SharePoint's core Lists Infrastructure
- Deep understanding of SharePoint's Document Management capabilities
- Good understanding of SharePoint 2013 Server Side Object Model
- Good understanding of SharePoint Search and its APIs
- Hands-on experience developing to support major migrations
- Demonstrable experience developing against the Microsoft .NET stack
- MVC.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, WebAPI
- Proven experience deploying SharePoint Farm solutions with minimal downtime
- Experience in applying Application Lifecycle Management processes

- Developing code to a consistent standard via the use of tools
- Strong understanding of SharePoint's Security Model
- Good understanding of JavaScript and common JS libraries (jQuery)
- Good understanding of PowerShell and how to develop for it
- Experience delivering within and contributing towards Agile practices (eg Scrum)
- Should have
- Experience developing SharePoint 2013 Apps (Add-Ins)

START: Arpil 2018 or ASAP
DURATION: 4 months to start with, planned for 12 months (evtl. option for extension)
