SHAREPOINT COORDINATOR SEATTLE, WA 9 MONTH CONTRACT

Our hugely popular client is looking for an individual who can assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint sites. This person will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand what the team does, and how it operates in order to identify and develop tools in the SharePoint. The goal is to develop custom solutions as necessary and maintain an environment to control communication and information exchange.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main focus of this position will be the implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions that meet the functional needs of the business. Additionally this individual will also be responsible for organizing and migrating existing documentation and communications processes to the new solution/site.

Once fully implemented, this individual will provide training as necessary in addition to inheriting maintenance of the new site and its tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of two years with working knowledge of SharePoint Technologies with experience in SharePoint 2013
- Hands-on experience in using Web Parts, Site Collections, Content Deployment, InfoPath Forms, Excel Services, Business Data Catalogs, Site Columns, Content Types, Authorizations, Workflows, Advanced Search, Master pages and Content pages, Search settings
- Ability to develop workflows using out of the box workflows and custom workflows using SP designer
- Assist others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level appropriate to their job function
- Ability to interpret business needs into functional and then technical requirements
- Ability to know when and communicate why SharePoint is not the optimal solution for a business problem
- Available to travel as needed to gather information on projects
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable working with remote teammates and able to deal with business users and technical stakeholders. Working with users and application stakeholders to verify and validate requirement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment and deal with ambiguity
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 3 years of Java experience developing complex systems within Oracle 11g environment
- Knowledge of project management framework and methodology
- Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java and PL/SQL applications built off of Oracle 11g/WebLogic environment.
- Highly competent using JDBC, Ajax
- Develop documentation for application and code
- Knowledge of writing packages/procedures for Java facing applications
- Ability to write database triggers, PL/SQL, and packages according to the business requirements
