We are looking for a SharePoint consultant for a leading global financial services company. You will be responsible for supporting the ECM (Enterprise Content Management) consultancy team in successfully introducing SharePoint 2013 as a collaboration and document management solution.
THE ROLE
The SharePoint Consultant's main tasks will be to assist in delivering SharePoint start-up sessions. Helping to define and document requirements and analysing SharePoint site requests. You will provide full support for the project preparing documentation and reports and communicating progress to stakeholders and project teams. You will provide web support, ad hock consulting sessions and keep accurate logs for requests and project milestones.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
These skills are considered essential for the role.
- Detailed knowledge of SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013
- Experience in site collection, site and OOB features of SharePoint
- Ability to translate business requirements into deliverable solutions using OOB features.
- Experience in handling technical as well as non-technical clients.
- Background as a Business Analyst
- Experienced working with web and enterprise content management area.
- Experience in working in a large organization on large scale projects, ideally in a global environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and customer handling skills.
- English a must, German a plus
SOFT SKILLS
- Good understanding of (non-technical) user requirements;
- Proactive and service oriented attitude;
- Appear as professional and communicate target group related;
- Assume responsibility and drive activities autonomously; Handle multiple tasks at the same time with competing priorities
