SharePoint Consultant, SharePoint Specialise, Office 365

My client is a leading financial organisation based in Holland, who are preparing for the migration to Office 365 Cloud.

As a SharePoint specialist, you are concerned with:

- Translating business issues into an IT solution, in SharePoint and Office 365.
- Configure and implement the solutions.
- Functional application management of the SharePoint solutions.
- Migrating on-premises solutions to the Office 365 cloud.

At this moment the on-premises SharePoint infrastructure consists of 9 SharePoint farms on 4 continents and the Office365 tenant, with which we serve about 40,000 users worldwide. Currently we are preparing for the migration to Office 365 cloud. In the coming years, all on-premises environments must disappear.

THE DEPARTMENT

The SharePoint department consists of 2 development teams and 1 management team with a total of 21 people.

The department works in accordance with the DevOps methodology and is jointly responsible for the availability of the SharePoint infrastructure and the management of the SharePoint applications.

THE TEAM

You will work in one of the two development teams. The team is result-oriented, multidisciplinary and works according to the Scrum method. The team consists of 7 people (1 product owner, 1 Scrum master and 5 developers) The language of instruction during our ceremonies is English and the development team is mainly involved in developing applications for internal departments/clients worldwide.

THE FUNCTION

As a SharePoint consultant you are independently responsible within the framework of Scrum for solving complex business issues and automating existing processes in the company on the SharePoint/Office 365 platform. For each solution you strive to use the SharePoint out-of-the-box functionalities and with the eye on the SharePoint Online migration you build the application 'cloud ready'.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- You have an HBO working and thinking level, preferably an ICT-related education;
- Minimum 5 years experience with SharePoint (2013, 2016 or Online) in a complex environment;
- Preferably experience with Office 365;
- You are able to translate customer requirements into functionality;
- Much experience in Agile work and Scrum;
- Good communication skills in English (Dutch advantageous)

Knowledge of Infopath, PowerPivot, Nintex Workflow, Sharegate, Powershell, PowerApps, Flow and/or Power BI are an advantage
