Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SHAREPOINT BUSINESS ANALYST (BA)/CONSULTANT to join our client in Purchase, NY.

Job Overview:
The primary focus is the deployment and support of a Global SharePoint 2010 Platform. This role will involve a combination of the following: SharePoint business analysis, vendor management of hosted application provider and outsourced support team along with SharePoint support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day to Day Management of our outsourced partner in support of our Global SharePoint platform/helpdesk.
- Maintains working knowledge of SharePoint as a Super User and can facilitate the creation of RoadMaps.
- Ability to create or lead the creation of processes, procedures, support flow and how-to's documentation.
- Track support trends and create corrective solutions through training and end-user communication channels.
- Analysis of advanced end-user needs to determine and recommend solution options.
- Assist with SharePoint end-user access management process.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans and implementation plans.
- Willingness to be on call after hours.
- Ability to foster relationships across the Enterprise and creation of a "Champion" network.

Job Qualifications:
- BS/BE Degree in a Technology oriented major or the equivalent job related experience.
- Three plus (3+) years of experience working with SharePoint in an operational role as a technical lead with one plus (1+) years of focusing on SharePoint 2010.
- Three plus (3+) years of experience dealing with End Users and facilitation of solutions to meet identified needs.
- Two plus (2+) years of experience in managing outsourced partners.
- Six plus (6+) years working in the support and management of vended applications.
- Strong knowledge of Internet Explorer 8 and above.
- Understanding of full SharePoint architecture and ecosystem.
- Experience with advanced functionality with SharePoint Lists and Libraries.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint integration points with Outlook, Exchange, Office, Lync and other solutions.

The ideal candidate would have a working understanding or ability to do the following:
- Management of My Sites as it relates to the profile, content and end-user social media hub.
- Optimizing Enterprise Search.
- Understanding of SharePoint Web Parts.
- Experience with SharePoint metadata included managed metadata, content types and tags.
- Understanding of general Active Directory and authentication flow.
- Understanding of standard network traffic flow as it relates to SharePoint.
- NewsGator Social Sites and Nintex Workflow experience is a plus.
