Sharepoint Architect/Sr. Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build operations capabilities and go live readiness preparation for large scale platform
- Build and implement support processes for large scale SharePoint enterprise platform
- Develops custom solutions for SharePoint using SharePoint API, Object Model, web parts, web services, workflows, site collections/structure
- Develop software including Website design and development using Microsoft ASP.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, InfoPath, Excel Services, Windows Workflow Foundation, Silverlight, etc.
- Gather and understand client system requirements for SharePoint implementations
- Perform gap analysis between proposed solution and client's requirements
- Map client requirements to SharePoint application functionality identifying creative workarounds when necessary or customizations/custom development
- Guide less experienced resource on usage and administration of the SharePoint application
- SharePoint Performance tuning comfortable and effective acting as liaison between multiple technology groups and representing groups in large scale meetings. Experience with project methodology techniques and documentation (Waterfall, Agile). Expertise in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including initial design/analysis of portal solutions through deployment of the solution. 8+ years experience building and managing medium to large Windows/Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 server farms with high availability.
