ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a SharePoint Architect/2013 Migration Consultant for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX. Our client has an existing, disorganized SharePoint 2010; site collections are messy, previous deployment was done via a number of file dumps, etc. The SharePoint Architect/2013 Migration Consultant will be involved in cleaning up their platform and leading a migration into SharePoint 2013. Candidates MUST have previous SharePoint migration experience, preferably from 2010 to 2013, including extensive technical configuration and set-up (not just out of the box, plug-and-play SharePoint). The SharePoint Architect/2013 Migration Consultant will be the expert consultant who helps lead their migration, eventually cross-training and handing off to a less technical, more functional analyst who will help customize and maximize the use of SharePoint within the company through things like requirements gathering sessions, documentation, training sessions, etc. Migration estimated to take 6 to 12 months.

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets

- SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 Architecture
- Migration from SharePoint 2010 to 2013
- Design/Architecture/Deployment/Setup
- Configurations/Customizations
- Create Customized WebParts/Functions
- Portal Security/Create Access on Existing/Newly Added WebParts
- Create/Deploy Solution Packages
- WWF - SharePoint Workflows
- Project Leadership/Business Analysis/Training
- Provide Leadership/Team Lead on SharePoint Migration Projects
- Interface with (External/Internal) End-Clients
- Gathering Functional/Technical Requirements
- Create Technical Specifications/Accompanying Documentation
- Cross-Train/Provide Support for Departments on SharePoint Migration
- Excellent (Written/Verbal) Communication Skills
