My client, a leader in energy sector is urgently looking for a SharePoint Architect / .NET - French/ Dutch Speaker - Brussels. It's an initial 6 months contract with high possibility of extension onwards.

Linguistic skills set:
The SharePoint Architect / .NET requires to speak at least 2 languages ( French or Dutch) + English to a professional level, having an excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.

Context of the project:
The SharePoint Architect / .NET - French/ Dutch Speaker - Brussels need to be competent in the technical SharePoint/.NET domain to join the Software Architecture team. Within the client different strategic business applications are developed and implemented using the Microsoft
technologies SharePoint and .Net. The mission of the Software Architect is to assure technical/technological consistency, alignment of application software architecture, and application of software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities/ daily tasks will be to:

* Define, design and maintain architectural standards and guidelines to be able to consistently fulfill current and
foreseeable requirements
* Evaluate requests and analyze needs for new significant project initiatives from an architecture perspective,
propose possible solutions, document the feasibility and economic consequences of the proposed alternatives and
select the best solution aligned with the IS strategy.
* Provide direction to the project and service teams in the modelling of the business needs and the design of
technical solutions, in the validation of the design and eventually the implementation of IS solutions based on the
architectural standards and guidelines.
* Coach the designers to ensure the solution architecture integrity.
* Define and document the overall architecture of a system and the rationale behind the balancing of business,
technical and functional constraints in cooperation with other IS architects (infrastructure, functional, .) within a
project, through the delivery of the necessary UML diagrams and models, conforming to the client's
standard method for modelling software architectures, and using the tool Enterprise Architect.
* Develop the medium term technological vision and roadmap for Foundations in SharePoint and .NET
* Perform technological market watch to stay up to date with technological evolutions and opportunities.

The Required Skills:
* You have a broad knowledge and experience (> 5 years) in translating business, functional and non-functional requirements into complete software architectures
* You have broad software engineering skills and experience (> 5 years) in the full lifecycle of IT projects, with
special focus/interest on management of component/framework reusability, version and configuration
management, and on continuous integration
* You have excellent technical knowledge and broad experience (> 5 years) in Microsoft SharePoint and .Net
* You are strong in conceptual thinking and you have a good abstract reasoning level
* You are customer-oriented, solution-minded and you have a learning mentality
* You are able to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations, proposed
solutions etc.
* You have excellent planning, organizational and workload estimation skills
* You have excellent UML modelling skills, preferably with the Enterprise Architect modelling application
