In 2013 the Data Warehouse established a Business Intelligence tools environment consisting of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Toolset (MSBI). Installed components of this environment include SQL Server 2012 and SharePoint 2013. The SQL Server components include Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Excel Services. The role of this specific position is that of a SharePoint Administrator associated with this newly established Business Intelligence platform.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
General SharePoint site and farm administration: managing of site creation and permissions, configuration of SharePoint services
SharePoint site problem resolution - 24x7 environment globally
Provide assistance to the user community for site theming/branding
Participate in establishing appropriate standards and governance procedures
Maintain/Enforce SharePoint standards and governance
Creating/Maintaining of SharePoint templates
Capacity Planning
Performance Monitoring
Site Auditing
Maintain/Update User Knowledge Base
Interface with a variety of Business and Technical organizations at multiple levels
SKILLSETS:
5-8 years of SharePoint Administration - Must include experience managing/administering a SharePoint 2010 environment
Ability to multi-task
Basic Understanding of Microsoft .NET and SharePoint Web Parts
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Domains
SharePoint integration and configuration experience is a plus
Working knowledge of IIS
SharePoint theming/branding
Ability to interact with various levels of technical and business partners
Excellent communication skills
