Sharepoint Administrator

My client is a well known government organisation seeking a SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR for an immediate start.

Scope of role:

- Establish commercial relationship to license Microsoft Office 365
- Develop workflow applications testing for business processes and functional capabilities of the product, in particular the use of SharePoint as a user interface to the organisations Information Management system
- Train users to participate in testing the applications and environment
- Operate the trial and support users
- Monitor and measure performance of the service in relation to expected benefits
- Assess current infrastructure readiness for an enterprise-scale O365 rollout and identify new infrastructure requirements
- Formulate a recommended future action and development of business case

Skills required for the role:

- Experience with optimal configuration of Sharepoint (preferably with Sharepoint Online, and preferably with Sharepoint 2013)
- Experience in access management and user provisioning in Sharepoint
- Experience in deploying and configuring Sharepoint websites
- Experience with implementing business and security policies in Sharepoint
- Experience with configuring RMS
- Experience in developing workflow applications in Sharepoint
- Experience with Exchange and Lync/OCS and integration with Sharepoint/Office
- Experience in supporting users and business-based Sharepoint website administrators
- Experience in training business-based Sharepoint administrators and users
- Experience in documenting Sharepoint configurations
- Experience in developing service desk work procedures related to Sharepoint operations (preferably via inbuilt knowledge bases and workflow)
