Sharepoint Administrator

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR to join our client in Blue Bell, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the administration, development, defect resolutions, and support of clients' SharePoint 2007 and 2010 environments.
- Issue resolution and support in adherence to documented SLA's.
- Work with the client project manager or project sponsor to document the project technical design.
- Define system attributes, external and internal interfaces, data schemas and integration specifications.
- Participate in mentoring junior members of the team.
- Manage software requirements specification.
- Maintain traceability information and track design status per client on a monthly basis.
- Manage changes to base lined design through effective application of change control processes and tools.

Job Qualifications:
- Very strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and create a clear solution.
- Very strong knowledge of SharePoint and related technology.
- Very strong experience developing and deploying custom solutions to a SharePoint farm.
- Very strong experience with; Page layouts and Master page, Content types and metadata (Specifically with SharePoint 2010), SharePoint Security model, roles of a site collection administrator and a site owner, SharePoint object model.
- Strong experience with configuring SharePoint options via central administration.
- Strong experience and understanding of the software development life cycle design (SDLC) and implementation.
- Strong writing skills, to communicate information effectively to managers, and technical staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as business owners, project management, and software development)
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Five plus (5+) years of experience on the SharePoint platform.
- Thorough experience and understanding of the SharePoint 2007 and 2010 based architecture approaches, design methodologies and design patterns.
- Experience SharePoint Designer.
- Experience with MS SQL Server technology.
- Experience with a SharePoint upgrade is a major plus.
