RESPONSIBILITIES

Sharepoint Platform Administration - Primary responsibilities
1. Administering and maintaining our HPBTSS SharePoint Farm/SQL server for all site collections.
Assisting our SharePoint users with setting up new sites, restoring deleted documents, and resolving site access issues.
Monitoring scheduled SharePoint jobs, troubleshooting IIS, .NET Framework, SQL connectivity and related web application components.
Monitoring SharePoint server CPU/user connection/SharePoint-SQL performance
Cleaning up dead NUID accounts from site collections to release unused SharePoint licenses and reusing them for new users.

2. Using SQL profiler to troubleshoot SharePoint/SQL coding issues impacting server performance
Installed and configured Crystal Reports Server. Troubleshoot user access issues.
Architected/Implemented MAS-500 server-client application software (Server, SQL and client). Troubleshoot user access issues.
Used Hyena to extract custom reports for migration of multiple shares to new file server.
Used DocAve, for SharePoint infrastructure management (DR, backup, restore, migration, farm management and custom reports)
Implemented and managed AnyView/SQL reporting services.
Implemented, maintain and support EPM Live (SharePoint Project management Tool).
Use Gomez web application monitoring tool to produce monthly report for AOL, MOM and SharePoint apps. Recorded and implemented new web application performance scripts to measure performance of AOL, MOM and SharePoint and setup automatic user alerts.
Create custom BI Dashboards/Reports using custom SQL scripts and Excel.
Create disaster recovery backup-plans using Windows Scripting. Schedule automatic windows jobs.
SharePoint storage optimization/SQL BLOB offloading.
Ensure the integrity of the SharePoint environment including implementing application service packs, cumulative updates, upgrades and migrations and performance tuning.

Operations Analyst - secondary duties
1. Administering, and maintaining TrackIT, MAS-500, AnyView, EPM-Live, DocAve, Gomez web application monitoring applications.
2. Administering SQL Servers for our AOL datamart, TrackIT, MAS-500, AnyView, DocAve, Business Objects, ODS, OPS, SSRS, Marketing Analytics team and SharePoint.
3. Rolling out updates and performing scheduled maintenance on NICE, TrackIT, MAS-500, SharePoint, DocAve, EPM Live and AnyView.
4. Writing T-SQL scripts, backup jobs, and maintenance plans and setting up, managing and scheduling SSIS packages and SSRS

Qualifications
1. Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related experience.
2. Microsoft SharePoint Server Administrator experience (at least 5 years). This candidate must be able to remove, install, and configure this software on the server.
3. DocAve Administrator experience (at least 3 years). Will serve as primary user of the application. Must have solid understanding of tool capabilities and be able to work independently to remove, install,and configure this software on the server.
4. Microsoft SQL Server Administrator experience (at least 5 years). Must be able to remove, install, and configure this software on the server.
5. Microsoft IIS Server Administrator experience (at least 4 years). Must be able to remove, install, and configure this software on the server.

Necessary Software Skills:
SharePoint 2007, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Visual Studio 2005/2008, AnyView Reporting, DocAve, EPM Live, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, MS Project, Crystal Reports, and Windows or 3rd party performance monitoring tools.

Necessary Operating Systems/Hardware Skills:
Windows 2003 Server, Windows/VB Scripting, HP DL Servers, RAID 5/10 setup, NIC, ILO and Tape Backup
