Settlements Analyst

SETTLEMENTS ANALYST - CANARY WHARF BASED - Contract role

A tier 1 investment bank is currently seeking to recruit a Settlements Analyst to join their offices based in Canary Wharf.

The role will be covering daily BAU functions within the following Operation Functions: Cash Securities settlement, Control, OTC/Note Issuance and FX. The Settlements Analyst role will provide backfill for the existing SME that will be used in the project.

Responsibilities of a Settlements Analyst:

*BAU settlements analyst role
*Systems reconciliations
*Maintain banking relationships
*Operating a central control function

Control tasks and work experience for a Settlements Analyst:

*Good excel skills
*MI reporting
*Client money reporting
*Basic understanding of client money
*Experience in a similar role
*Reconciliations experience
*Outstanding communication skills
*Operations exposure
*Excellent attention to detail,
*Pro-activeness,
*Control-focused approach
*Positive attitude
