Settlement Analyst - 6 Month Contract - Warwick - Negotiable Daily Rate

A large blue chip Energy and Utility client of Hyphen is looking for a Settlement Analyst to join their business.

The Settlements Team is at the very heart of the UK energy regime and is responsible for calculating, paying and recovering monies with a total transactional value of around £2.5billion per annum. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we go through a period of change. The successful candidate will be involved in the calculation, validation and invoicing of £2.5bn with over 200 customers ensuring that queries are responded to in a timely and courteous way.

Key skills/experience

Support the Senior Settlements Analyst in the preparation of Ancillary Service statements and invoices accurately and on time.

Support the Senior Settlement Analyst in issuing of Market Information in line with obligations and license requirements

Support the Senior Settlement Analyst in the provision of accurate and timely preparation and submission of internal and external data reports- often to tight deadlines.

Support the maintenance continuity of IT systems.

Support the balancing services charging process.

Obtain appropriate authorisation for payments.

Provide interrogation, analysis and reporting of data in the settlement databases and spreadsheets.

Ensure all processed data is auditable, clear and accurate.

Manage internal and external customer relationship with support from Senior Settlements Analyst

Support the wider Settlements team processes and projects as agreed is appropriate from time to time.

*A level/HNC/BTEC or equivalent in numerate or IT subjects required
