Settlement Specialist - OTC and FX teams (4370)

The main goal for the candidate and his/her team is to perform the daily settlement task in an efficient, customer-, risk- and cost-oriented way, detect sources of error and derive error- and loss-reduction measures and process improvements.

Your Qualifications:

- Banking Operations (Back Office) experience ie settlement (book, pay, settle, confirm) of one or more of a variety of products like FX spot, swaps, forwards and OTC derivatives on FX, rates and equity for instance (could also be securities)
- An affinity to IT/able to work a host of different programs including MS Office
- Good communication skills and pronounced service orientation
- Fluency in English, German would be advantageous

Your Responsibilities:

- Responsibility for the day to day settlement (book, pay, settle, confirm) of a variance of products like FX spot, swaps, forwards and OTC derivatives on FX, rates and equity
- Tight collaboration and communication with trading desks, internal support areas and bank counterparties around the globe
- Detect sources of errors and derive error- and loss-reduction measures and process improvements
- Book transactions
- Reconcile transactions (FOBO)
- Settle transactions
- Reconcile Confirmations
- Investigate and resolve breaks
