IOS Data Control Analyst

Department Description:

The Data Control department forms part of Investment Operations Service (IOS) London. Currently a team of 18 people covering all aspects of Data Management.

The Team is split into Three Key Areas covering the main IOS operating systems and the department cover the desks from 7am - 19:00 on a shift pattern

There is also an extra on-call cover 19:00-22:00.

The main Role of the Team is to control the accounting system for one of our clients, as well as various downstream systems

Key responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Data Control Analyst are the following:- - Process the set -up, maintenance and control of all static data on HiPort and other systems in line with client and internal instructions.
- Fund and Sub set up and maintenance
- Receive asset pricing queries and work with associated teams to provide the client with a timely and successful resolution to outstanding issues.
- Able to assist with projects and augment internal developments in response to changing client and business needs
- Understanding the end to end impact of each task performed by the team on the business/client
- All of the above in line with agreed SLAs and delivering exceptional client service.
- Maintain up to date and informational procedures for the department

Key Skills:

- Pricing/Validation background or Static Data background
- Multi-tasking ability
- Exp in a fast paced environment working to deadlines/SLAs
- HiPort and Bloomberg would be great but not essential.
- Attention to detail to ensure minimal errors
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Client focused
- Able to work within a team and interact across departments
- Self-motivated and pro-active, able to meet tight deadlines
