SERVICENOW/JAVASCRIPT/SERVICEPORTAL

JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL CONSULTANT - SERVICENOW

LOCATION: 3DAYS NETHERLANDS/TwO-DAY REMOTE UK

RATE: NEGOTIABLE

DURATION: 6 MONTH ROLLING CONTRACT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyse, design and implement ServiceNow functionality in line with business requirements and other best practices
- UI design and deployment including use of style sheets and delivery of ServicePortal
- Create integrations with other client systems
- Development of client specific workflows

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Experience of developing or customising software using Scripting or any compiled languages) either professionally or for fun. Languages of interest include JavaScript, PERL, PHP, Unix Shell - sh, bash, .NET, C, C, Java
- Strong aptitude and desire to learn
- Self-starter who prides themselves on quality of delivery
- Technically savvy
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Team Player
- Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities and styles
- Adaptable to work in a varied, high-paced exciting, fun environment

DESIRED SKILLS:

- ServiceNow certifications
- Use/Implementation of other ServiceNow® modules
- Knowledge of IP Networking Technologies
- Experience of IT operational best practice
- Use of SOAP/REST Web services
- UI customisation JavaScript programming including use of GlideMYSQL and other relational DBUML
