Servicenow Developer/Administrator

Conduit Group is currently looking for A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER/ADMINISTRATOR to join one of their top Oil and Gas clients in Calgary for a long term contract engagement. Working in this very professional environment, the successful candidate will enjoy a collaborative team setting and industry leading resources and support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Development and implementation of additional functionality and configuration including; report design, workflow administration, data migration, validation, customized Scripting and integration with existing architecture.
- Gathering business requirements and performing technical transformation as well as relevant risk analysis.
- Overseeing day to day ServiceNow administration tasks including upgrades, maintenance and technical support.
- Utilization of current change management practices
- Developing best practice solutions, relevant documentation and compliance with ITIL requirements.

REQUIREMENTS WILL INCLUDE:

- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and relational databases.
- Functional experience with web technologies including: XML, JavaScript, HTML, HTTP, AJAX and CSS.
- Working knowledge and experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience with ITIL methodology and standards.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and ITSM practices.
- Soft skills should include; excellent analytical, professional communication, organizational and prioritization skills.
