We are seeking an experienced Service Transition Manager to work within our Acceptance into Service team. This role is focused on ensuring that all operational requirements (including documentation and training) are delivered for new IT services and systems prior to their launch. The work involves defining, agreeing and managing the delivery of service acceptance criterion.

You will need to demonstrate an in-depth experience of working in a Service Transition/Service Introduction role - aligned to ITIL best-practices and following project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile. This experience will be backed up with a formal qualification in ITIL (Foundation certificate as a minimum).

A key aspect of the role will be dealing with a number of different stakeholders - so excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills are a must; as is the ability to identify and manage conflicts and risks.

You will have a broad ranging knowledge of modern technologies used in a corporate environment, and will be able to work in their own initiative in order to prioritise and manage their own workloads.

You will have excellent organisational skills, and an extensive experience of using Microsoft applications.

Formal project management qualifications (eg. PRINCE2/PMI and/or Agile) would be advantageous.
