My client are a large financial organisation who are looking for a Service Transition Lead to join the team for a 6 month contract. The Service Transition Lead will play a pivotal role in delivering the change portfolio. The role straddles both the IT teams and project teams, providing management exposure across the IT life cycle.

The Service Transition Lead will be to work across one of the major programs and ensure that when projects are delivering IT is ready and enabled to take on support.

Required skills and technical experience:
Educated to degree level/appropriate professional qualification or experience.
Detailed knowledge of IT and change management operating models.
A proven track record in a managing teams and achieving business outcomes.
ITIL qualifications and industry recognised project management qualifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Excellent operational, programme and presentation skills and strong inter-personal and negotiation skills.
Planning, prioritisation and conflict management disciplines and ability to create, maintain, execute, and track plans.
