Service Transition and Readiness Manager

THE COMPANY

A new opportunity for an experienced Transition Manager has been created within a NSW Government agency. This is a 12 month contract with a view to extend working on an important transition program.

THE ROLE

- Delivery of all Service Transition Projects for new or significantly changing services from project into Business As Usual
- Implement and improve the service transition framework process
- Work with project and Service Delivery managers to develop and manage implementation plans while managing risks, governance, quality issues and reporting.
- Manage, monitor and measure the business impact through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Work with the policy for Change Management across all environments
- Investigate and resolve incidents and problems with transitioned services- Ensure that such incidents and problems are fully documented in the Knowledge Base.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a service delivery and client focussed culture in order to gain efficiencies and positively contribute to client services.
- Provide input into the strategy and develop plans, policies and processes for the design, monitoring, measurement, reporting and continuous improvement of services

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Proven success and experience as a Transition Manager
- Sound knowledge of ITIL framework
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
