Service Technician

Fantastic role for a consulting electrical engineer to work with the leader in electrical design and solutions.

YOUR ROLE:

- Attend to call outs for service of control systems/HVAC or CCTV maintenance
- Act as a consultant to customers on building automation where required.
- Identify and solve problems.
- Follow up all outstanding problems under your control. Carry out preventative maintenance.
- Assist with commissioning of projects.
- Perform minor installations
- Reduce and or minimise callouts to individual contracts.
- Ensure you're on site and ready to start work by your nominated time.
- Report service request completions to the service administration on completion.
- Ensure contract services are performed on time, within time and costs.
- You are to provide a high level of responsiveness to call outs on all service, repair, small works and projects.
- Report all movements, repairs and associated information to service administration in a timely manner.
- Identify callbacks onto Work Reports, initiate corrective action plans to eliminate same.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Experience as a Field Engineer within buildings - HVAC/Control Systems/CCTV/or/and security,
- Good attention to detail,
- Good communication and customer care skills,
- Experience in advising customers on building automation products
