SERVICE/SUPPORT LEAD needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Rochester, NY.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform regular system documentation and systems/services review and make recommendations to clients based on needs, budget and results desired.
- Improve customer experience, service and satisfaction.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer's needs.
- The Service/Support lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Client Computing Solutions support team at the Rochester Campus.
- Manage the ticket queue and assisting with trouble tickets as necessary.
- Provide technical and supervisory guidance to the team while ensuring the highest levels of service and support for our customers
- Responsibilities include managing service requests, project work, and team assignments
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the TacComms Client Computing Solutions team.
- Monitor and triage all elevated service requests including assignment of resources and escalation of issues according to severity and SLA.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd Level IT support relating to technical issues.
- Document, monitor, enhance or optimize the following: group processes and procedures; incident reporting, management and remediation; monitoring and reporting for support services.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or eight (8) years equivalent actual operational experience.
- Proven supervisory experience in a campus environment required. Business administration and customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Dell Hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, network environment and Remedy.
- Ability to develop, organize, direct and evaluate the performance of the team and individual team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with people from all levels of the division.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to travel locally between sites and be able to carry/move light computer equipment.
