Service Supervisor - Safeguarders Panel

For 130 years, CHILDREN 1ST has been working to ensure every child and young person in Scotland has a happy, healthy, safe and secure childhood. We listen, we support and we take action by delivering services in homes and communities across Scotland.

Under arrangements made by The Children's Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011, CHILDREN 1ST is contracted by Scottish Government to assist Scottish Ministers with the management and operation of the Safeguarders Panel.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team to ensure effective delivery of the Safeguarders Panel in the best interest of children, through day to day operational tasks and the recruitment, support and development of safeguarders within a framework of practice and performance standards.

You will play a key role in engaging with safeguarders across Scotland through day to day operations and facilitating regional forums and training events. This post will require some working outwith normal office hours, considerable travel across Scotland and overnight stays.
