Service Manager

We currently have an opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Inverness team on a six month fixed term contract with the possibility of an extension. The successful Service Manager will manage and develop Red Cross Independent Living activities in the Central, Northern and Western districts of the Highlands, ensuring that all appropriate governance, standards and procedures and health and safety requirements are incorporated into a quality service that provides positive outcomes for the beneficiary and values the work of the volunteers.

To be part of the service development team to ensure that all services are provided in a comprehensive and co-ordinated way for beneficiaries accessing the service. You will also undertake responsibility for raising and promoting the Red Cross within the designated geographical area.

The successful Service Manager will assist the Senior Services Manager and services team in ensuring that all national quality assurance are met in full and that the required monitoring and recording processes are being followed.

You will have experience working with or in partnership with the NHS and Social work services and also experience working in the Health & Social Care environment.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential as you will be required to understand and monitor service standards and quality. You will also be involved in the planning and managing of projects and activities including the ability to develop internal and external partnerships.
