Xoserve provides a range of centralised services to the gas industry in Britain. It manages all the key data associated with the majority of the 22 million gas meter points nationwide through large and complex computer systems as well as the registration and customer switching services for the industry. Xoserve also manages the energy allocation and invoicing on behalf of the country's large Gas Transporters, and through its knowledgeable employees helps the industry manage change to the processes and systems which enable the country's commercial regime for gas to operate.

As an integral member of the broader Service Transition Team, the IS Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring robust service management provisions and that all related service management processes are fit for purpose and can meet the organisation's current and future objectives.  Along with this you will need to work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as third party suppliers this role is responsible for ensuring outstanding service delivery and actively contributing to ongoing continuous improvement across the IS Operations portfolio.

Your past successes have seen you develop a reputation as someone who is experience in building and sustaining outstanding working relationships with third party suppliers as well as internal stakeholders. You have achieved this due to your well developed knowledge of Service Management principles and work within ITIL environments. If you are ready for your next challenge, you are keen to build on your experience to date and further develop your management skills then this is the role for you.
