Service Introduction Analyst

I am looking for a Service Introduction Lead to work for Jaguar Land rover based in Coventry on a 6 month contract.

Key Purpose of Role
*Accountable for the governance of Service Design and Transition for a specific business area or programme stream.
*Ensures that new and changed IT Services are introduced within agreed levels of disruption.
*Drive and support the tactical and strategic evolution of IT Service Introduction by defining, owning and delivering proactive initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
*Own the Service Introduction framework (Service Design & Transition) for a specific business area.      *Business areas are split into "Manufacturing", "Marketing Sales and Service", Product Creation and Corporate Services. An additional technical area being split out is Integration.
*Identify the pipeline of work coming through their business area (at PPD and BRM level).
*Plan and secure funding to support the pipeline.
*Maintain metrics on all programmes/projects working through the Introduction framework.
*Ensure vendor partners are appropriately engaged and prepared to support new/changed services, both during transition and in the BAU organisation.
*Advocate Service Delivery best practise and act as trusted partner and advisor to the PPD organisation. Pushing back on any changes to IT services that may introduce any unmitigated risks.
*Identify and deliver strategic initiatives to drive the development of the IT Service Delivery group.
*Work cross functionally to support broader Service Management objectives.

Knowledge & Experience:
-ITIL v3 foundation qualified required.
-Introduction lead experience
-ITIL Service Transition valuable but not essential.
-Project Management qualification (Prince2, PMI, Corporate tailored methodology) preferable.
-Strong stakeholder management experience.
-Ability to pushback and influence new approaches whilst maintaining positive working relationships.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills. Confident presenter.
-Strong Service Design and Transition background.
