Projektbeschreibung
The individual will report into the Release Change Manager to perform the following key tasks:
- Produce metrics from various sources for weekly and monthly management reporting
- Following basic procedures to be able to produce the metrics from test applications, ticket management tools such as LANDesk.
- Input into the monthly management report packs
- Analyse those metrics for trends and hotspots
- Analyse our processes and identify places for improvements
- Work with the client as part of the management team to devise the improvements and plans for implementation
- comparing against industry and ITIL best practises
- Administration in the tool of choice for ticket management ie LANDesk
- Act as a Centre of Expertise for Process Owners and provide continual touch points across the IS Organisation.
- Ensure recommended improvements deliver expected value.
- Collaborative working with IT Delivery Partners to identify areas of innovation and capability to improve business efficiency
You should have strong working knowledge of the following:
- Administration experience for the ticket management tools eg. LANDESK
- Excellent knowledge of IT operations and process
- ITIL SERVICE MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION
- EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF EXCEL, WORD, MS PROJECT, VISIO AND POWERPOINT
- DEMONSTRABLE EXPERIENCE OF SIMILAR ROLE
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High energy and passion for the role
- Self-starter, able to make suggestions and drive improvements
This is an urgent 6 month contract role located near to Slough with an immediate start. There are long term opportunities for the right candidate.
