We are seeking a qualified Service Implementation Manager (SIM) for our Federal Government Client.

The person selected to perform the duties of the SIM will have to have broad product knowledge and skill sets associated with implementing systems into service. This will include policy, training and liaison experience at an enterprise level with a large and geographically diverse workforce.

The individual required for this role will likely have a background in project delivery, ideally in a technical environment. The individual will be required to liaise frequently with our Client and industry personnel and have strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated performance in meeting deadlines and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS.

The contractor should have proven strong skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- Project management, in particular experience in developing project plans and supporting documentation in ICT projects.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills enabling effective engagement at all levels
- Facilitating workshops with users/stakeholder groups at all levels.

DESIRABLE SKILLS.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

- Supply chain business processes and logistics operations.
- Logistics IT systems (specifically MILIS and DTP).
- In-service ADC/barcode technologies.

The contract is due to start mid-October and runs until the end of June 2013 and a Baseline Security Clearance is required.
