Service Engineer/Devops Specialist (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-In the course of the project, the Trading applications need to undergo a transition to new IT platforms (e.g. new Active Directory, new Exchange server landscape, Win10 upgrade, new authentication and authorization process)
-You will analyse the current application server environment on premise and in cloud with the focus on certain middleware products and application services
-You will work out detailed migration plans for each applications to be able to migrate to new platforms
-You will implement necessary server configuration changes, migrate certain applications to cloud or help rebuilding server platforms on premise depending on the agreed migration strategy
-You will support the Win10 upgrade in terms of testing and business support
-You will support and coordinate the transition of productive email boxes to a new platform
-You will help create test plans for these migration activities and assist developers/application owners on their migration journey with a standardized migration approach developed in the Service Engineering Team

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Fundamental experience in a release and deployment tool like Team City or similar
-Experience with Subversion, GIT, Stash
-Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services
-Experience with installation and configuration of various middleware products: Tomcat, Hibernate, IIS, Java Runtime, Rabbit MQ or Active MQ/Kafka or equivalent products
-Experience with Version Control tools like Subversion, GIT, Stash
-Fundamental development skills in Power Shell
-Good working experience with Windows and Linux server, clustered server environments, monitoring tools like Nagios and implementation of Windows 10 clients, MS Excel 2016, Office 365
-Experience in data center migration projects
-Experiences with CHEF and Ansible is desirable
-AWS Certifications (professional level) are beneficial
