Our client is a leading Bank and they are looking for a Service Desk and Workplace Services specialist. This role is to be part of the Retail Production team.
You will be a specialist in the domain of Service Desk Services, both onsite and remote. Also, you will be specialised in Workplace Services. This role will be involved in outsourcing the IT infrastructure and exposure to IP Telephony. You will be working closely with vendors, global services and local departments. Therefore, you will be interfacing with local business and EMEA business for all production and infrastructure aspects.
While managing the service desk and workplace service teams, you will also identify technology and service providers. Another aspect of the job is the daily follow-up of helpdesk, On-Site-Support, Infrastructure Team and Procurement. Furthermore, you will also update internal work-instructions and procedures and take the role as incident manager and problem manager using group processes.
You will need to have worked on a similar project for at least 3 years.
You have a degree as Industrial Engineer or Civil Engineer with an IT specialization or equivalent experience in the mentioned IT fields.
