Proteus Europe are looking to recruit a Service Desk Operative for a prestigious client based in Ghent, Belgium. This position is full time on a contract position until December.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE CURRENTLY LOCATED NEAR TO GHENT AND SPEAK FLUENT DUTCH ONLY. ONLY APPLICATIONS MEETING THESE CRITERIA WILL BE CONSIDERED.
YOUR ROLE WILL MAINLY BE THE FOLLOWING:
- Central contact person for IT-related problems or questions for IT service users. In the first instance, attempt to provide a solution, a workaround or the requested information.
- Ensuring a guaranteed solution and provide the necessary feedback to the customer.
- Proactively the proper functioning of the computer using. Follow the necessary tools and insurance.
- Constantly looking to improve skills and further learning in order to provide optimal service to the customer.
- Helping to build a documentation platform.
- Perform independently delineated tasks (development tools, modify incident MGMT system, creating automations)
Our client works morning and afternoon shifts respectively from 06:00 to 14:00 and from 14:00 to 22:00, including weekends.
There are 3 teams consisting of 3 employees per team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
o Good technical background
o MS Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint
o UNIX/SAP o Mainframe z/OS
o Curious to know their own software distribution and various business applications
DESIRABLE SKILLS -
Good communication skills
Customer Service Oriented
Friendly
Team Spirit
Relevant work experience
Knowledge of ITIL
