I am recruiting for a service desk officer.

The skills requirements are below.

The role will require you to
Accompany European territories in their daily production monitoring
Support local entities with the installation of the new versions or
functions of standard applications
Adapting applications in scope according to the specific needs of the
different sites in the context of regulations or specific customer requests.
Ensure the coordination with the central
Functions of the project involving branches in Europe
Represent the interests of local entities within the central projects

The Global Service desk offers support on their business applications in the different domains (Finance, Risk, Payments, dealing & Lending, Reporting to local entities)

You will need to Handle incoming requests from user community (incidents, requests for
info, requests for service) either via Phone or via E-mail.
Consciously log incidents via available tooling.
Propose solution if available.
Progressively build up knowledge of application architecture to improve
answering times for incidents.
Indentify responsible incident solvers (teams for resolution/assistance).
Proactive follow-up resolution of incidents with the incident solvers.
Proactive communication towards users' community of the
status/progress of incident resolution.
Reporting to European management on incidents.
Service needs to be offered during extended hours (8 - 19).

Experience: Preferably some experience in a similar function in a banking environment.

The team offers broad learning possibilities in a global environment

Technical experience: Preferably some experience with reporting tools.

Mandatory: Office Skills (Word, Excel, E-Mail)

Preferable: + Experience with an incident management tool (like HPOV, Tivoli, Service now, JIRA ).

+ Experience with reporting tools like Business Objects
