My client is looking for a service desk analyst to join the IT services team on a 3-4 month contract.
The focus of this role will be to staff one of my clients service desk's on a daily basis and help with the new ITSM tool implementation within the team, manage the SD tickets verifying correct priorities and categories, assign tickets accordingly either to the SD or the rest of resolvers and help the team to respond to end user queries or requests regarding the new ITSM tool.
Job Requirements
- Experience of being part of a 1st/2nd line customer facing support role within and IT department.
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge and experience of supporting at least one of the following operating systems and common tools for that platform including Microsoft Office, Windows 7, Mac OSX and Linux
- Must have Service Now experience
- ITIL foundation certification
Desirable Skills
- Relevant degree or qualifications/training/experience
- Shoretel VoIP telephony platform or equivalent
