RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extensive Telephone Support Diagnoses, identifies, researches, and resolves enterprise-level technical support tickets (Remedy)
- Responds to user queries, answers questions and resolves hardware and software problems in a multiple platform, Windows environment
- May implement corrective actions from remote site or guide user through corrective actions
- Ensures corrective actions are implemented and hardware and/or software are functioning properly
- Generates appropriate documentation
SKILLS/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- 3-5 years of experience supporting Enterprise level internal business customers for issues regarding PC Hardware
- Competent in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Nice to have skills (not all required) Windows Server, MS Exchange, Windows XP, Windows 7, Active Directory, SAP, WAN, LAN, VLAN, SharePoint, and related enterprise-level software
- Excellent technical support, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills must be able to work with users of various technical knowledge
- Cohesive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills while having ability to perform without supervision
- Familiarity with Remedy or similar incident tracking tool preferred
EDUCATION:
- MCSE Certified preferred
- College degree preferred
