Service Designer

SERVICE DESIGNER - SERVICE DELIVERY - ITIL V3 CERTIFIED - ITIL SERVICE DESIGN - PRINCE 2 PRACTITIONER - BROADCAST

Our well known Digital Broadcaster requires a Service Design Specialist who will manage broadcast and business systems technology from commission to playout; delivering the tools for people to do their job across the division.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Planning and rollout of technology projects ranging from a studio desk in a bureaux to the technology in brand new building
- Work closely with key stakeholders from within Engineering Operations, project and business the Service Design Specialist is responsible for gathering and documenting the service requirements for the design of support models, ensuring these are fully costed and agreed; defining and managing the delivery of agreed acceptance criteria to enable the transition from project to live operation
- You will be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence using a variety of communication methods, managing any conflicts to an acceptable conclusion
- Work collaboratively across diverse teams you will have the ability to work on your own initiative, unsupervised, maintaining high visibility as a point-of-contact

REQUIRED SKILLS

- The successful candidate will have significant experience with Service Design and the Design of Support Models from a large complex environment, ideally broadcast
- ITIL V3 Certified, ITIL Service Design and Prince 2 Practitioner
- You will have experience of assessing service impacts and requirements; documenting and agreeing service models, ensuring attention to detail at all times and delivering to agreed timescales
