Service Design Manager (Operations Excellence)

A Service Design Manager (Operations Excellence) with extensive experience of Operations Excellence is required for a 9 month contract in Corsham, Wiltshire. As the role is with a Defence client, candidates who hold current SC Clearance would be beneficial, however candidates without this will also be considered.

The Service Design Manager (Operations Excellence) must have recent experience of delivering operations excellence and coaching, ideally in a Defence environment, and previous proven experience of a powerful engagement approach to build credibility and trust, and enable those who do the work to re-design their processes. It will include coaching middle and senior managers in Operational Excellence and the removal of barriers to change and to continually reinforce success through good news stories across the organisation. The Service Design Manager (Operations Excellence) must also hold a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

The Service Design Manager (Operations Excellence) will be required to conduct a pilot project and subsequent exercises to identify and deliver improved effectiveness to ISS operations. Throughout the process of engagement the Service Design Manager (Operations Excellence) will need to encourage as much skills transfer as is practicable to ensure that best practice can be learned, Embedded and sustained across the ISS organisation.

The Service Design Manager (Operations Excellence) will be responsible for delivering work-packages and report outcomes as defined by the OE Team Leader.
