Service Design Architect

SERVICE DESIGN ARCHITECT IS REQUIRED BY MY CLIENT WHO IS BASED IN LONDON.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED:

- Operational experience in delivering Managed Services derived from Service Management and Technical disciplines, ideally within a Managed Service Provider organisation.
- A strong understanding and experience of commercial and operational requirements and dependencies for complex Managed Services solutions.
- Leadership Skills - Lead projects utilising Matrix collaboration through virtual teams (including consultant led work - with no Project Manager).
- Service oriented leadership of teams incorporating other consultants, engineers, operations and third party suppliers.
- Excellent verbal (persuasion, negotiation and listening), written and presentation communciations skills encompassing the ability to interact at different levels with customers, staff and suppliers. Commercial awareness and experience working with customers in both the private and public sector.
- Up to date knowledge of overall trends and changes in the managed services provider market.
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours - notably on bid support - and travel, where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Educated to Degree/HND level or equivalent showing strong analytical and reasoning skills coupled with effective business communication.
- ITIL Foundation, ITIL v3 2011, ISO20000k experience and knowledge (essential).

THE ROLE

Service Design Architecture is responsible for ensuring the service and technical solutions for customers are achieved in accordance with business objectives, approved deliverables and governance for the delivery of the service. This role will work with the Managed Services Operational teams to support commercial bids as per my clients Sales Management prioritisation for large Managed Services bids.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Service Design Architect output documentation in line with bid support including Statement of Works and Service Models
- Presentations, RAID logs, SLA/KPI design and analysis, Service Credit Models, Target Operating Models.
- Input to and design of repeatable service models ensuring input to continual service improvement.
- Active and dynamic input to bid and service costs, service design documentation and contract agreement schedules input.
- Representation at prospect, customer and internal meetings.
- Working within Managed Services Operations in collaboration with the Sales, Consulting, Finance and Legal, Security Compliance and Product Portfolio functions to meet business objectives.
- Providing authoritative input to bids on Service Design
- Supporting handover to Service Transition and Operations

PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONS:
