This well regarded Government department has technology managed service agreements in place requiring improvements in relation to Change Management, Incident Management, Monitoring, Reporting & Service Management. The purpose of this role is to develop a service improvement plan and take the lead on this through to conclusion which involves working closely with internal stakeholders (both IT and the business) as well as our vendors.
MANDATORY:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Service Delivery Manager (or comparable) role within an enterprise-sized environment, with a strong focus on ITIL processes.
- Significant experience in monitoring and managing the performance of services provided by vendors, including ensuring Service Level Agreements are consistently met.
- Extensive understanding of IT helpdesk management systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, including the ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and to understand their business priorities.
- An extensive history of service improvement initiatives.
DESIRABLE:
- Background in some of the following areas: Network security, operational security and governing outsourced managed security services.
- Experience rolling out security policies, processes and standards.
- Risk Management.
- Government experience.
