My client a large multi national is looking to hire Service Delivery Manager as part Data Centre Migration Programme of work; infrastructure currently hosted in sites across Europe is being centralised into Regional data centres in the UK, with the ultimate aim to moving all regional Infrastructure to Global data centres in the US.
The role is an initial 6 month contract that will be long term paying daily rates based in Dublin
This role will not actually be part of the migration programme team but will help represent the Dublin branch
Define and manage service delivery processes (project demand/supply, service review, monitoring and reporting) between Dublin branch and Global Services.
Assist with the introduction of ITIL-based service delivery processes and the definition/documentation of application support models
This role will suit a Service Delivery Manager or Senior Project Manager with Service Introduction experience.
Key Experience Required
Extensive experience in management roles covering application development/integration and infrastructure.
Experience of service introduction and engagement, preferably in an ITIL environment.
Experience of Service Delivery including detailed understanding of Incident, Problem and Change management processes, ideally in an ITIL environment
Experience of project estimating and costing.
Project Management experience across infrastructure and application platforms.
Experience and knowledge of application support.
