Service Delivery Manager - APM, Archiving, Service Development & Integration

I have a superb opportunity with a globally renowned blue chip organisation for a Service Delivery Manager with archiving experience. You will be responsible for Service Development and Integration for the GIS part of a global archiving project.

Key Accountabilities:

Acts as IT Designer/Architect/Capacity Manager
- Owns the overall solution design (incl. service, architecture, technology, process) and ensures that all parties adhere to it.
- Ensures that the solution design conforms to (current and evolving) strategic, architectural, governance and business requirements.
- Identifies current usage and forecast requirements based on the demand pipeline and schedule provided by APM and maintains an appropriate roadmap for necessary solution changes.
- Identifies, initiates and coordinates necessary solution setup and change activities.

Acts as IT Business Analyst ("Gatekeeper")
- Serves as single point of contact for APM and provides appropriate consultancy regarding the existing archiving solution.
- Evaluates the feasibility of the demand pipeline and schedule provided by APM from a service perspective and aligns (service internally as well as with APM) as necessary.
- Analyses each incoming archiving request, verifies that the readiness criteria are met and determines the appropriate archiving solution.
- Either accepts archiving requests and hands them over to the Archiving Execution team or rejects archiving requests and hands them back to APM along with an appropriate rationale and advice.
