Service Delivery Consultant - Belgium

Start date: ASAP (next week if possible - after interview & approval)

End date: 31.03.2016 (with extensions)

Location: Brussels

Rate: 350 Euros/day

Description:

Change Management

To perform an initial analysis of incoming change
To approve standard changes
To co-ordinate and follow-up changes and change planning with the Service Provider Change Coordinator
To provide feedback on change progress to SDMs, service desks and end users 

Incident & Problem Management

To co-ordinate and follow-up incidents and problem with the Service Provider Incident and Problem Coordinator
To follow up on major incidents and problems
To provide feedback on incident resolution/problem investigation to SDMs, service desks and end users
To analyse sources of incidents and to coordinate corrective actions at the operational level. 

Project Management

To create, maintain and follow up project plans for both internal and external projects

Security Management

To follow up on creation and implementation of standard deployment plans for security patches and customer security officers
To report on compliance for software 
To report and follow up on any remedial actions following updates .

Service Delivery Management

To review and improve IT infrastructure components and processes and to participate in their architecture, design, implementation and support in a mission critical environment.
To maintain a status overview of all services provided by External Service Providers, their SLA measurements (KPIs) and problems.
To contribute in the reporting on in a status overview of all security
To perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.

Requirements:

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years in SDM, change or incident manager role

PC, IT, LANGUAGE

Standard Office Application

Knowledge of Platform technology (operating systems (Linux, Windows), VMware virtualization, Servers, clients, storage)

The common working language is English. All the staff proposed by the Service Provider is expected to be fluent in English, both in reading, in writing and verbally. A good understanding of the French language is required

Understands a topic by breaking it down into its parts. Assesses things in a systematic way, taking all relevant information and details into consideration. Screens data/documents and identifies the significant elements to detect any anomalies or inconsistencies.
