We are looking for someone to provide both general telephone and remote support to end-users for the organisations hardware and software.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Provide advice to end-users in relation to the maintenance, installation and support of computer equipment and perform other related duties as required.
- Assess all incoming information
- Initiate follow-up action to transactions and relating processing.
- Operate computer keyboard, database information and other appropriate office equipment.
- Able to identify and classify symptoms and possible causes of problems to ensure appropriate assignment to specialist areas
- Ability to provide telephone based IT support, using computer based Incident Management Systems, remote support tools
- Strong technical understanding and knowledge of PC hardware and network architectures, peripherals, PC operating systems and a range of application software
- Proven experience with windows applications
- Excellent communication skills is a must
